Update - after emailing the society desk, it seems GLS lost the package or something (TIL that GSO changed their name) and they're sending out a new one. Great customer service as always!

 

I don’t think they need to make a decision on the event yet. It’s 2 months away, a lot can change. But they should at least consider pushing back/extending the public onsale/early bird pricing dates. Doesn’t seem like the best idea to entice people to buy tickets right now in the middle of a global pandemic. I’m sure they’re discussing all options for them though.

 

I would say it's 50/50 on cancellation at this exact moment, but in a month we will know for sure.

 

I think sooner than later would be a good move. I mean, FWIFB just got canceled.

 

Seems it inevitable because if they -did not- cancel and it was a fiasco, they would never hear the end of it when 'everyone else was so diligent in their response'.

Hoping it just gets postponed to my birthday weekend in September instead.

FYI I ordered a flex shipper March 6 and just got notice it should arrive tomorrow, in case you're also anxiously awaiting shelter in place supplies.

 

Same here. Ordered 3/5, arriving today.

 

Ordered on the 8th. Arrived yesterday, the 19th.

 

Thought my box wasn’t going to make it, didn’t get delivered until 9pm! still cracked a can of WC though haha.

 

Ordered on the 16th, arrived this morning (20th). I think they have put more people on shipping since they aren't using them to pour beers.
