Stick to your plan. All your choices in Burlington are spot on.

You got all the best ones, but 10 miles south of Burlington in Shelburne on Rte. 7 - Fiddlehead Brewing. They have an IPA, Kristalweizen, and if you are lucky, the Maple Sap Beer is still on - big release at a fundraiser last night there, but not a bunch of heavy drinkers who attended, so I bet there is some left! Tasting room is open - give them a call.

I haven't had a chance to visit Magic Hat or Switchback yet, but from my recent experience at Fiddlehead, I would recommend prioritizing them if you can only make it to one production brewery in the Burlington area. The brewer was very friendly and welcoming, and the short visit was a great detour from the downtown brewpubs.

Matty Cohen is the former head brewer at Magic Hat - give him some love and head down to Fiddlehead for his beers, and the excellent pizza next door - you can carry a growler right in and have it with your meal. Got a wine-drinker in tow? Send them right across the street to the Shelburne Vineyards Winery tasting room. Now that makes for an efficient use of time!

Re-reading my post, it wasn't very clear. I was recommending a visit to Fiddlehead. Matt was super friendly, welcoming and brewing some very nice beers. I especially loved the Kristalweizen. I'd like to visit Switchback and Magic Hat someday (I need to get my stamps, after all), but while I'm sure they're fun to visit, I doubt they can hold a candle to the charm and intimacy of Fiddlehead. The building was also beautiful, and while we didn't have time to stop, the BYOB pizza place looked good.

Fiddlehead just posted on FB that there IS some Sap Beer left, 2-growler limit. Won't last long though. And yeah, I did get your post, FLM - just confirming it was a solid suggestion. My thing was "go to Fiddlehead before you spend time at MH" and Matt will reward you with some good beers.
