I just sold my KAB4 because I'm going through way too much propane. I'm looking to buy a Bayou Classic SP 10 or an SQ 14. Has anyone been around both to help differentiate the two? I brew 5 gallon batches most of the time. I've got a 15 gal 20'' diameter pot. So here's what I'm looking for in order: - 5+ batches of beer off a 20# propane tank - Brings 6.5 gallons of wort to a boil (from mash temp) in ~15-20 min - Can handle 12 gal of wort if I decide to do a 10 gal batch. This is rare and it's ok if it struggles a little) - I don't have to tweak the valve every three minutes to prevent a boil over. The KAB4 was a real bitch - Unless I decide to build a tier system, this has to be the end-all-be-all burner for me. Any thoughts?
