So I bought a mixed six pack on craft shack the other day, great selection of beer. After checking out I noticed that they require a signature when delivered. They recommend a business shipping address but I don't have that luxury. I was curious if they will ever send a tracking number to ensure that I can be home when the package arrives. Has anyone else dealt with craft shack?

I recently bought from them, and within about two days of placing my order, they e-mailed me with a tracking number for it. I used my home address, and the delivery person actually left it without the signature so I guess that is only enforced depending on the person who handles the package. Enjoy your beers!

Yes, they typically send a tracking number. And I've had nothing but positive experiences with them. On the couple occasions where a mistake was made they've made good on the mistake.

I've also had nothing but good things to say about them. And yes they send a tracking number

If they shipped via FedEx you can create an account, log in, and have it re-directed to the closest FedEx store. Then you can go in there and pick it up at your convenience.

I have ordered from them, and I have had positive experiences. Pretty much any place that ships alcohol requires an adult signature.

Unfortunately I ordered something from them, then they told me they ran out, so they reimbursed me the funds. But that was no big deal.

Craft shack is terrible. No one here ever order from there again! ( wring hands as plot to keep best online beer store to myself is set in motion). Seriously, I have received at least seven shipments from them and never signed for a package. Could be because the UPS guy knows me from all the parts I get for a car I'm restoring, but they just leave it by the garage. Great selection and service. TELL NO ONE ELSE!!

Same here, received a shipment not too long ago, no signature required. Only online store I've ordered from that didn't.

@TonyJ815 I ordered 20 different things, all bombers or singles except for a 6 pack of Velvet Merkin and shipping was $60 something. So, not much different than paying shipping costs when trading.

From what I can tell, they simply pass their own shipping cost direct to the consumer. No markup.

I really wanna order from these guys. Awesome selection and prices. But man, shipping prices are a bitch. Guess that's the price you pay for beers unavailable locally.

The best online beer excperince is balckwells wines and spirits out of califronia. I once sent four measly 12 0z bottles to CA and it cost almost $20 in shipping. They will send 12 bottles any size ( so I order bombers which are not inflated price wise) and it costs me $35 flat rate because I am in New york. Go to their facebook page and talk to gary about getting on the beer run. They send a weekly email with what they have and you email your order once you set up an account. Sammyjaxxxx told me about this fellow and i have been using him ever since. I dont' order often but when I do I am happy.

Happy to see this thread. My wife has recently been asking me about purchasing beer online, particularly from craftshack. Glad to hear how reputable they are. Will tell her to go for it. Thanks guys!

I have loved my experiences with Craft Beer Kings.

My experience with Blackwells has been terrible. They charge significantly higher than CBK, and they dicked me out of some rare beers because "I didn't order enough beer". They basically told me the reason they didn't honor my purchase was because someone agreed to purchase more volume than I did. This is the quote they told me, " next time buy more beers and we will honor your purchase." There will never be a next time after that.
