Buying Westvleteren online?

I have NOT seen it that cheap in a long time, but since its 1 euro or less in Belgium. I am not surprised to read about big price differences. Its up to $7 here now, for years it was 5 bucks, many a year it sit there in many ABC liquor stores, until they stop carrying it. The middle man and retail gets yea on imports. The euro is way down but you never see any changes....

as for Westy well I still think its the bee's knees'. I do love the Blonde, and frankly the 12 is great but one can only have 2 or 3 in a hour and your fired. lol

 

Given the wide variety of other options available in this area, even if hard to find, the only Westvletern beers I might be willing to pay int'l shipping costs on is the Blonde. I personally thought that of the three Westvleteren beers currently available it’s the one that is furthest ahead of the rest of the pack.... Indeed, it was the only one I made a point of seeking out more than once on my most recent trip to Brussels. :-)

 

oh I hear yea. I would not be willing to pay even shipping myself anymore. But I used to get 6 at a time years ago.

 

Not true. You're not importing to resell. At least not legally.
