I'm trying to find a beer list from last year but can't seem to locate one. Anyone know of one?

I've been to all of them. It's a great festival. Every beer is poured by the brewery (not a distributor rep) and everyone brings their "A" game.

    In a word, GO!

Last year in Sacramento was excellent. The festival has more breweries than you could hope to try (someone call my bluff). I was a big fan of the seminars the days leading up to the fest as well. All in all, an extremely well-run event by the CCBA and very excited to see it in Long Beach.

I do know from the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp at that area any rideshare out at the end will most likely have 5x surge if not higher.

Bit of a walk, but the Blue Line metro station is just north of that. Park at Willow and train on down...?

Holy cow, didn't think of this. Rainbow Lagoon Share!

Since the Blendery is a sponsor, maybe a VIP bottle share at the barrell room!?!??!?

Can't say but if it doesn't work out at the Hyatt, I'm sure folks in the surrounding alleys would welcome it.

Thinking about this one, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. The three hour public transit ride or a pricey Uber from the Westside, has me thinking hotel. A good poolside share would push it over the edge

My apartment has a pool, but it's small as hell and I dont' remember where my key is. Also parking will be an issue. Drunk neckbeards at 11pm would probably be glossed over though.:joy:

Anyone know what the asterisks next to certain beers are on the taplist? I can't find anything about it on the website or the app.

I'm thinking it is either timed releases or VIP beers.

For those of you further north, please advise which breweries from up there we should be seeking out. Any advice you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I'll bet around 90% of what I drink is made in LA or SD and I'm totally out of my element with NorCal beers (as the name would suggest).

Cellarmaker (duh), Central Coast, Drakes, Dionysus, Fifty Fifty, Institution (not norcal but likely not on your radar), Mraz, New Glory, RR (duh), Sante (duh), The Monks Cellar, Tioga Sequia,

Cellarmaker, RR, and Sante are all indeed "duhs." I doubt RR will bring anything I haven't had or need to try, but I'd still put them in that category.

Are Drake's and Fifty-Fifty still putting out good stuff? Haven't had either in at least a couple years (probably more).

Any other Norther Cali recommendations, BA's?

Drakes, I am unsure. Fifty-Fifty, IMO yes but no one likes just straight up barrel aged stouts anymore so not sure what your preference is. I look forward to the Eclipse party every year.

    Tioga-Sequoia looks like they're bringing a variety

Alvarado I'm personally not a huge fan of but I know others enjoy it

Long burnt out on Rare Barrel, but the strawberry pineapple may be intriguing

I think Laughing Monk & The Monks Cellar has some interesting taps.
Phluffed-Imperial Fluffernutter Stout w/ Peanuts, Marshmallow, and Vanilla Beans! Fluffernutter? Come on man! Now that's sounds nuts. And a name like Laughing Monks? I have never seen a Monk laugh. Especially when they use to hang out at airports. I'll be wearing my Monk wardrobe with speedos underneath. See y'all there. Cheers.

Looking over the list of Norcal stuff: Almanac, Alvarado, Bare Bottle, Berryessa, Crooked Lane, Device, Faction, Dust Bowl, Flatland, Moksa, Mraz, New Glory, Temescal, Rare Barrel, Tioga Sequoia would be the ones I'd recommend.
