Weird, I’ve never seen a Lagunitas without a clear bottle date.

Agreed, they're hard to see if the liquid is behind it, and I feel it's easier to see if the light source is behind the bottle rather than above it.

Yep. Julian date code is easier to see with light behind the bottle. Picked up some Sucks last week and it was more than three months old. It was okay but could tell it was old.

Bulldog West Coast IPA’s by DeLahunt (San Clemente) have been selling well at my local beer store, so I decided to give them a try. Nothing special, but pretty spot on for the style.

Radiant Parallel Path is legit Westy. Bradley’s in Tustin charged $4.99 for a can though

Grabbed some westies on my way out of town last weekend. Amalgamator remains a gem that I wish we saw up here, Mayberry was a nice surprise, super well balanced. Can't wait to drink one over the next few days with a little more attention as I drank the first after a long day of driving and it was so easy to drink that it was just suddenly gone.

also, from Revision, Hop Anatomy is a startlingly solid APA. Not really true to the wcipa intent of this thread as its balance is too perfect to even call it an IPA of any sort. But if you're after clean, clear hop love it is rev doing rev at their best

Last batch of "Boring" from Green Cheek was awesome. 100% Idaho 7, so much pineapple. Hope they do another run in the future. Just had Societe Bachelor: Motueka. Super good, almost had a Sabro like lime-y thing going on. West coast is the best coast, cheers!

I tried to get really nostalgic and old school tonight and grabbed a bomber of Racer 5 (with no dating of course). Straight up old malt bomb. Had to drain pour it. Sigh. On to better things.

We’re you able to grab some Thrillseeker cans? So clean and refreshing. I hope they keep this in the rotation along with Gator and CHolic. Revision IPA & DIPA when fresh is very good. Last 6pk cans of Revision IPA I bought I was upset. Upset I bought it knowing it was sitting on the TW shelf almost 6 weeks out. I never buy sh!te that’s been sitting on the shelves that old. I must of been high. I need to fly to Reno soon. anyways have you had anything west coast ipa from Wild Fields Brewhouse? They are out of Atascadero. Newer brewery. Owner and brewer is Ryan Fields who was the original head brewer from Beachwood Blendery. He and his wife moved and opened their own brewery a couple of so years ago. Some of the more cleaner and newer IPA’s out there.

Unfortunately I didn't see it. I look forward to being able to actually enjoy visiting breweries again.
And that sounds like one near the top of my list. Sounds great

I'd love to try some of their stuff - Ryan has a great pedigree (Lost Abbey, head brewer at Pizza Port SC, Blendery)

Not sure where you are located, but I see it often at the Wine Country in Signal Hill.

That's a serious resume. Can't wait to enjoy the central coast area some more.

Enjoying Mayberry even more today with a little attention. This is definitely my kind of IPA

Hmm, bought into all of the “Sabro be damned,” “doesn’t really taste like Sabro” chatter and picked up a couple cans of Pizza Port Taste for Adventure now that it’s finding its way to NoCal (despite my usual avoidance of Sabro). Have to say, it’s one of my least favorite of the pizza port ipa releases, and I’m usually a fan. All of these releases are more alike than not, but this hop combo doesn’t sing for me.
