First box off to my target, who happens to live in the city that the 1983 gritty Cansploitation classic "Siege" was filmed and takes place in.

It's almost halfway through the month so I guess I should probably post.

For my target: You live west of me, I drove standard one of the first times in my life in your town, that being said I have only been there once.

For my sender: I like well made beer. Love big beers, lagerbier, lambic, hype beer, less hype beer. It's mostly all good.

Not a huge fan of crushingly sour beer.

I had to search in the past for your like/dislikes and I found one beer style I have so much to offer.

Most of the Canadian bottles I have are from your province but I found some local gems and a lot from US.

Good morning my target.
My box was dropped yesterday.

It's not the first time I mail to you. In your town there had been a marathon this summer. It was one of the hottest days ever so I feel really bad for these poor runners.

 

My targets second box is off and away for its journey from the shores of the Pacific to the Atlantic!

To my receiver - I'm late posting but putting together a swell box! You're west of me, though that's not hard from NS. We've exchanged here before, though that's also not surprising. Your street sounds like it was made for drinking.

To my sender - sorry for my tardy post, but good news, I'm not too hard to please. I like good beer! Great if I can't get it in Nova Scotia, though that's not hard. If you would be happy to receive it in a box to drink, I probably will too!

 

To my target: you are far west of me and seem to drink at work a lot. The Halifax office put an end to that a couple of years ago.

I'm sending the goodies in two boxes. The first is scheduled to arrive Oct 26, but hopefully CP can reel that in a bit. Second box to go out next week.

WOW, it's a really great dark collection.

 

Started dark and just got darker! So many delicious flavors listed.

 

To my receiver.....sorry I have not got your box out yet but I have been carefully selecting brews you will enjoy! You are East of me...not super far East but far enough that I have not been there yet. My team is better than your team.....both are considered the best lol....we shall see this year!

Really, I can't say enough about how happy I am to get these. My better half was standing next to me when I was opening it, and she commented that I looked like a 10 year old opening presents at Christmas.

In my head, I keep a FOMO / ISO list of things I want from what new beers I read about in the Canada Facebook beer group. My current list was PSRQ, Pumpkin Pie Bestowed and the new Collective Arts OoD can set, as I kept wishing I could have these to open on Halloween weekend. This box has all of those. Also, I love the Rat Queen releases, and there's even the new port barrel RQ included. It would have been on my mental list as well, but I wasn't aware it had even been released.

On top of all that, the rest of the beers are a perfect hit on my wish list that I posted in this thread- awesome low-abv session-able stuff, all which I have never tried before. There's even a Wood Brothers in there- A brewery whose beers I love and is my nemesis when it comes to 'beers I just can't seem to get a hold of'.

So, in summary, I don't think this box could have been any more perfect!

 

Sorry, for the above pictures I realized there is a Wood Brothers - Lolly can missing. I had already put it to the fridge yesterday when opening the box, in prep for opening.

Also, I may be wrong on the port RQ? It's either new or I just missed it in the past. Either way I'm really happy to have it come my way.

 

It's not new. It's probably a year old. But it's one of my favorite. I should have waited for another week They just released Rye.

 

I just received two extremely generous/amazing looking boxes from "Mystery Ship Records" in Cumberland BC! I'm excited to try it all, but this will be my first bottle of Chuckanut! Thank you so much! Feeling very grateful for getting a wonderful selection of beer.
