I might be getting my hands on some Fou Foune, Lou Pepe and St. Lamvinus soon and have no idea what they are trading for.

    Anyone have the slightest clue?

Yes, very true. I just don't want to be way off on what I'm asking for.

    A) have you ever drank them?

    B) drank them!

    C) There is no established X cantillon goes for Y beers.

    D) I have traded Lamvinus and Cuvee Des Championes for FFF growlers and I traded FF for a Beatification 750, one for a Trinity Old Growth, and one for a growler of Citra (back when it was growler only). Cantillons also make great extras, if you want to move into the 'awesome trader' territory throw in some 375s/750s of kriek or gueuze as an extra.

    E) What in particular are you looking for? I love trading cantillon out for growlers, I suggest you pick a brewery like Alpine, KRBC, Town Hall, Live Oak, etc etc and see what they have on draft. Locals will snatch that offer up super quick.

I would say a special release plus, for the price and pain in the ass for getting the bottles, but then it depends upon how bad someone wants a cantilloon, and how much they value their special release.

Yeah, I've tried the three I listed before. I really just haven't developed a taste for lambics or gueuze's. I was just wondering what a ballpark trade would be. Thanks for the input!

As a person who has scoured Chicago up and down for Cantillon, I feel a good amount of rage about someone "knowing" where there is/will be some, doesn't like them, and is just purchasing to trade them.
    So. Much. Rage!

Trade them for what you have a taste for.

Well see, I would do that but I have a taste for a lot of things. One of them being rare and idk if any of the loons I listed would even come close to pulling that. I guess if I found the right BA.. But that's all chance

Which Lou Pepe? My guess is that with a package of all 3 you'd have a chance. Hell Fou Foune alone might be able to do it with the right trade (although that would have been more likely last year).

Well I love BCBS so I figured the next step would be rare or vanilla or possibly a bramble as I've already had the BCBCS

Buddy, you are in for a world of dissapointment. BCBS vanilla was good, but vanilla bean like coffee does not last in an aged beer. Rare was good, but honestly not that great ( did a side by side with 08). Trade your loons off to someone who hasn't had them for beer you haven't had, at a $4$ ratio. Make a newb happy, and try something new.
