Middleton, WI (April 2013) - Brewmaster Brian Destree went on a mission – a mission to develop an India Pale Ale (IPA) worthy of the most award winning brewery in America. Based on feedback from consumers, distributors, and retail partners, Brian developed a recipe for a balanced, extremely drinkable IPA. Mutiny’s citrusy hop aroma
and 70 BU’s give it the credentials to satisfy “Hop Heads” everywhere, with a remarkably clean finish that will satisfy the palate of all beer drinkers.

The Mutiny name was a story in and of itself. In the brainstorming session, opinions were strong, with GM Tom Stitgen favoring one name, which was loudly shouted down by the staff. A team member quipped, “Tom, it looks like you have a Mutiny on your hands!!”

The rest is history, and Capital Brewery Mutiny IPA is now available in 12 ounce bottles, cans and draft.
