Just wondering if anyone has experience with either (or both) Coopers carbonation drops and Brewers Best conditioning tablets. Coopers contains a combination of glucose and sucrose, while Brewers Best is composed of dextrose, dry malt extract and heading powder (which is apparently dextrose and gum arabic). I suppose I could try both, but I thought I'd ask forum members first. Thanks.

    I would use this stuff...

But seriously, is there a reason you want to use tabs/drops? Table sugar is a lot cheaper and does the same thing. You just sanitize it in a bit of boiling water and add it to your bottling bucket. See this calculator for specifics...

I used the muntons carb tabs (what you show as brewers best) a long long time ago and would not recommend them. They left little white flecks of undissolved material in the beer.

Most kits come with corn sugar. Is there any benefit to using corn sugar?

I have used the Coopers many times, always with good results. As to why I use them, its when I'm kegging a beer but want to do a quick 4-6 bottles to give away or I have more beer in my fermenter than the keg will hold.
    They work great.
