I am a out of stater considering trying to join for 2017. Do any of you trustee now or would be willing to? Just trying to gauge how hard it will be to get to find someone to trustee.

To clarify for the sake of public perception: I have emailed twice and received a prompt, friendly and helfpful response from Ryan both times. My "improved communication" gripe was more about how the "second chance, no guarantee" sale was carried out with no notice to club members who are not on facebook. I understand this will be tweaked going forward. There is so much beer out there to budget for I personally don't really mind being beat over the head with the reminders. The bruerys "you will be able to buy beer soon" followed by a "you can buy beer now" followed by a "We are halfway through the time to buy beer" followed by a "this is your last chance to buy beer" model has helped me to not forget on more than one occasion.

Also regarding communication: The CA emails do go to my spam filter despite me moving each one to my gmail inbox and telling it to do this with all emails going forward. Not sure if that's on me or CA (i'm utterly helpless with anything having to do with computers) but my TRB, Modern Times and Bruery emails don't go to spam... so perhaps it has something to do with how they are sent?

The store just sort of confuses me a bit, but it works so far. I'd love to see a clearly laid out order history and possibly a list of what is still being held for pickup just to put my mind at ease. That being said, I have done two pickups so far and my beer is always safe when I get there... and I fully admit I am prone to worrying.

Hope it doesn't come off as nitpicking.I have been really happy with the quality of the beers and am very glad I took a chance on CA since I was on the fence, had never tried anything and was being pushed by a friend who had tried two things at a share. These things rarely turn out this well....! Currently membered up w/ 6 societes and cutting that number in half for '17. CA will be one I happily hang on to.

Anybody order extra Frambuesa de la Casa?

Looks pretty good based on description.

Frambuesa de la Casa is derived from our foeder-aged Saison de la Casa aged for 10 months and re-fermented on a high concentration of fresh picked raspberries grown in Oxnard, California. Following several months of re-fermentation Frambuesa was back blended to the preferred balance of berry and sour beer with red wine barrel aged Saison de la Casa.750ml/8.7% abv.

Yea I jumped at the chance to get 2 extras. I didn't get any extras of Zarzamora, but after opening a bottle, I wish I had.

Wonder if that golden sour is going to be a base beer going forward, for non-saisons. Has anyone tried it yet?

I ordered the two extra bottles. Their members beers have been great so far. I'll probably end up grabbing some of the other preorders as well

Hey guys, just want to remind everyone that this weekend Casa will be holding the Public sale for new memberships and the public sale for their Golden Sour. If you missed out or know someone who did and want to join you can do so in person this coming Saturday (9/17) and Sunday (9/18) before they're sold online.

its a must have. as good or better than SARA. The house saison is amazing. Berliner was great. The fruits they add are a seamless blend that have a ton of flavor without just being a sweet, sugar, fruit bomb. Definitely worth the investment

Depending on where you live....come up and get growler fills and member only on-site bottles when they are available. Get into the tasting room as frequently as you can.
