From Cigar City Brewing Just bottled: 110K+OT Batch #5! This guy clocks in around 11% ABV and was brewed with bitter curacao peel. The result is an incredibly hoppy citrusy bomb, but warming in the finish. Double IPA? Hoppy barley wine? Whatever it is, it's pretty awesome. Bottles and draft will be completely a tasting room exclusive, on sale in the coming days! Oh yeah: NO GROWLERS
It's like I saw the post, got aroused, opened the post, lost my mojo. Why break my beautiful heart tonight baby?
Batch six is looming, an imperial stout with raspberries, aged in port barrels. I have a label for it, it was under the label from the box they gave me at the brewpub when I picked up some Brunch stout. I can't wait to have a bottle with some liquid in it!
Had it too during Tampa beer week, was amazing for the age, still quite hoppy for a RIS with that muck age on it!
I didn't notice it was an old link when i posted on this thread, was at the brewery yesterday and heard some chatter that this years batch was bottled and we should see a release soon.
If you're having trouble finishing off that case of Batch #2...well I have been known to perform beer community service.
