    (512) Brewing Company is seeking a full time cellar operator to join our Production team. We are an independent, family owned brewery in Austin, TX run by a group of people that are passionate about the beer we produce. We are currently in the 10k barrel/year range and growing, and we believe that making the beer that we like to make and doing it the right way every time has been the key to our success. If this sounds like something you want to be a part of, then this job may be for you.

Job duties include running the kegging line, warehousing and managing inventory, cleaning and sanitation of equipment and the whole brewery, minor equipment maintenance, and eventually will progress to fermentation management, transfer, carbonation, and other processing of beer after brewing.

    Here are some job requirements:

    · Brewing knowledge – you should be a seasoned and knowledgeable homebrewer at least, and someone with brewery work experience is preferred.

    · Passion for making beer – this job is for someone who has made beer a career or is ready to pursue beer as a career; it’s probably not for someone who just thinks working in a brewery might be fun.

    · Availability – while we like to keep our schedule civilized, we do sometimes require nights and weekends, and long shifts are the norm.

    · A friendly and cooperative demeanor, and a team-oriented attitude

    · A focused and detail-oriented mind, with good math and communication skills

    · A mind for safety and quality, and a commitment to both

    · A solid understanding of sanitation practices

    · Ability to stand on your feet for long shifts

    · Ability to lift up to 150 lb repeatedly

Pay rate is commensurate with experience. Please send resumes to nate@512brewing.com
