CM had a crap-ton of releases right at the end of 2019, and the thread didn't get any buzz at all.
    • BBA Vastness back in bottles. BBA Vanilla Latte Vastness in bottles for the first time.
    • Canning of Dauv Williams, the DDH DIPA collab with ASB
    • BBA Horus collab x2, including a limit 1pp coconut variant. Not surprisingly, both sold out quickly.
Starting the 2020 thread with their first release this year, Tuesday 1/7:

Really enjoyed this version of canned Tiny Dankster. Looking forward to trying C-HoP and Midnight Silk tonight.

Just moved to SF and enjoyed being able to walk in late on Tuesday and grab all 3 of these great beers.

“Loza Farms IPA”, “Double Mt. Nelson” & “Coffee & Cigarettes” Cans Tuesday 1/28 @ NOON!

    Loza Farms IPA

This brew is a Collaboration with our friends at Highland Park Brewery and an ode to Loza Farms. During hop selection both breweries independently choose two lots of Citra from this farm, blindly. We feature those lots of Citra, but also Amarillo & Cascade hops solely from Loza Farms. Leon Loza Sr is the owner of Loza Farms in Wapato. He is believed to be the only Hispanic commercial hop farmer in the United States. He worked super hard from a young age to build his legacy. Most everyone who works there is part of his family. Their love shows in the superb quality of their hops. Thank you Loza farms for dobis’ing with us.

    $5 per 16oz can or 4 Pack Deal $18

    Double Mt. Nelson

Ask yourself this question: how much Nelson can I handle? If your answer is “as much as you can give me,” then you are ready to climb Double Mt. Nelson. This 100% Nelson Sauvin hopped DIPA is packed with various Nelson crops to create an intense spectrum of Nelson amazingness.

    $6.00 per 16oz can or 4 Pack Deal $22

    Coffee & Cigarettes

A lightly smoked coffee porter made with a touch of German beechwood smoked malt as well as high quality English malts to create a chocolaty, roasty, base beer. Then, add nearly two pounds of Sightglass coffee per barrel for an intense but refined coffee character

Haven't been to a can release in awhile. Rough average, quickly are they selling out these days?

Last few releases, they've lasted a few days. Only exception was the Monkish/Other Half TIPA collab, which sold out in 6 hours.

Quick fyi - Berkeley Bowl posted this weekend that they are now carrying Cellarmaker going forward at both locations. They only had cans of Midnight Silk to start off ($6). They said more's coming, so hopefully these will show up.

I really enjoyed Loza as well. It's just nice, crisp drinking. Perfect for cheering on the '9ers this weekend.

I'm kinda meh on hazies right now, so didn't even bother to try this batch on Double Mt Nelson. Coffee & Cigs is better than the last canned batch, with different coffee beans used. Had to run off back to work, so only tried those two.

On the upcoming board are a few collabs... Pastry Stouts, Horus stouts destined for BBA, etc...

I saw that post. It wasn’t clear to me that they’d receive a guaranteed shipment each release or just leftovers. Not gonna take chances this time since I’m an HPB fan and nelson otaku.

I didn't even bother to try this batch of Double Mt Nelson, but based on everyone's feedback I'm gonna try to get a pour this week while it's still on tap. I'm skeptical, but primarily cuz I'm not really into 8+% IPAs these days, not anything to do with the quality of the beer. (I've had former batches.)

Yep. Tried on draft and it was good enough to convince me to buy a bottle.

Also, BA Batch 1000 is really, really good. I'm glad because the non-BA version at Barleywine Fest was a little disappointing. The BA version lived up to the hype.

Yeah, I wouldn't say BA Batch 1000 was the best Barleywine I'd ever had but it's pretty good English-style. Actually incredible, considering it's their first attempt. (Didn't have the non-BA one).
