Anyone burned out on texas beer festivals yet? anyone going? here is something I saw elsewhere in an email Hey everyone: Just wanted everyone to know that the Guild is not associated with or helping promote the Central Texas Beer Festival on April 21 at the Austin Music Hall. The Guild logo was "lifted," for lack of a better word, and used without the Guild's permission on the website promoting this festival. We are in the process of trying to locate the organizer and request that he/she remove the Guild logo immediately. The event has been cancelled. I posted about it, but basically they didnt get the support, and they saw what happened last week with the Austin Beer Fest, so they jumped ship. Probably a smart move.
