Central Waters' new Barrel Aged Release "Barrel Aged Le Petit Mort" hit the stores in Madison today. From what I can tell, stores that recieved the beer each recieved one case (12 bottles). The total bottle count on this release is a fairly low at 1,200 bottles so get it while you can!

It is indeed, I can see Local Option's logo staring back at me from all six bottles I secured on my run during lunch :grinning:

Hoping this hits Chicago too, I've been waiting for this one for like 8 months. Where do people think it'll be available?

They have/had it at Rileys, Star, Hyvee, the typical places.

I didn't bother checking with the Steve's locations but I know the one on McKee road will be getting it on Thursday. Basically, they'll get it whenever they get their weekly shipment for the distributor for Central Waters (which for most places was today but for a few is later in the week).

Oh yeah and price point is between $10-$11 depending on the place.

Helpful hint to all. Cental Waters is a pretty small brewery and everyone there is pretty knowledgeable about what is going on. If you just call their main number and ask the guy who picks up the phone about the release, he'll tell you everything he knows (which typically is ALOT). He will certainly know where is all being distributed.

    Good to know.

    And you're talking $10-11 for a six-pack, right? Hopefully not for a single 12oz...

I would guess they are Bombers from the OP description of 12 to a case???

25 ounce bombers. Central Waters continues to be the best bang for your buck when it comes to BA beers.

Oh OK, not a bad price then.

I had it on tap at Local Option and it's a pretty unique beer. Worth seeking out.

Haymarket had it on tap a month or so ago, and I thought it was an ok beer but not as good as their other BA beers.

I like it for what it is, just a beer showing off a lot of barrel character, which CW does well.

When I checked over lunch it didn't appear to have arrived on the west side of Madison yet.

Steve's on University got their case this morning and the guys I talked to said it was part of the west side shipment. I was able to find a bottle here and there but for the most part I would say Madison is sold-out.

Steve's on Junction was nearly sold out when I picked up a bottle a few minutes ago.
