Canada Changes with Hopfenstark

    According to their Facebook, they're closing......the bar in l'Assomption. Brewery will expand a bit there but the good news is that they will have their own bar (no brewing on-site) on Ontario St. in Montreal. Looking forward to this, will make it easier for South Shore natives (like me!) to taste some of Fred's creations.

    Saw that post as well, pretty cool, and will add to some of the good brewpubs already down towards that end of town....

    Really happy about the move - could never get up to l'Assomption. And maybe Cheval Blanc is nearby, so that makes yet another brewpub on my customary pubcrawl route in the East End - yaay!
