Not that cheap, but I really like Xingu $9.99 per 6 pack. It's an underrated schwarzbier/black lager.

I could drink 6-packs of Fresh-Squeezed IPA from Deschutes all day, usually about $9/sixer here.

When FW was still brewing Mission St. beers, I would always keep that Mission St. Pale around. GABF award-winning beer.[/QUOTE]

Yeah, that was great, and only a buck a bottle around here, at $5.99 / 6

I would say cheap but good beer I would go with Abita Amber and I thought the NB Summer Helles was a good choice this summer. But if I was to go really cheap I found bombers of Redhook Audible Ale and Shiner Whitewing for 3.00 at my local shop and sometimes those fit the bill haha.

I'm not a fan of New Glarus' year 'round lineup, but their Thumbprints are almost always world class. When Dancing Man is available @ 7.99 It's hard to say no.

There are a lot of bombers worth drinking under $6. Arrogant Bastard goes for $4. If I wanted to, I could also mention Redhook ESB, which sells for under $3

    Deschutes mainstream lineup...
Mirror Pond, Black Butte Porter, Obsidian Stout, and seasonally Red Chair...
All regularly available for $12.99 a 12 pack on sale.
And Chasin Freshies 2014 release is so good I think it's a bargain at about $5 for a 22oz bomber.
Laurelwood Workhorse IPA is delicious and sometimes available for $7.99 a six pack. Probably out of the
range of "cheap", but I consider it a really good value for the quality.
And nobody has mentioned Breakside IPA, $3.99 for a 22oz bomber. Don't know how widely it's distributed, but in the
Portland area it's a great deal for a really solid IPA.

Can I say every De Garde beer? $9 for the berliners, $7 for the gose variants, $12 - $14 for barrel aged wilds all in 750s.

Or the basic Hill Farmstead stuff at $10 for a 750? Nordic Saison, Arthur, etc.

Cheap is one thing, available is another ...

Saw DFH Indian Brown Ale 6ers for less than $8 last week.

SN 12-packs of Torpedo and, currently, Celebration, offer great beer for $13-14 when you get them on sale. Even at full price, $16 around here, these are very reasonable choices.

Bomber-wise, AB for less than $5 at Costco is probably the highest quality/price ratio in that format.

Lagunitas has bombers of Hop Stoopid, Imperial Stout, and Imperial Red Ale all for $4.49 in Wegmans around my area. Haven't exactly nailed down the best value for an east-coast IPA yet though.

Aaaah. You are correct on that. But it ain't cheap to live here. ( but where is it) however you do have the sun and weather!
I am slightly envious of the many choices you have although the list grows ever longer here in the east.
    Have a great beer evening:slight_smile:
