Yuengling black and tan. 22$ a case, true value.
I like that one, too. I also think Deschutes Blonde Ale (River ale) is great too. It is quite mild, tasty, and fresh. It is usually around $7-7.50 for a six pack. Also, there is a local favorite in Utah, Uinta brewery's ubiquitous and popular pale ale (called Cutthroat Pale ale). It is around $7-8 per six pack.
When looking at the average cost of any sour style beer, a six for for $12 is not bad IMO.
I love Old Style and other retro lagers but in terms of quality:
Yuengling - $5.99 a 6Pack
Shiner - $6.99 a 6Pack
Sierra Nevada - $7.99 a 6Pack
Great Lakes - $8.99 a 6Pack
Straub: $5.99 for a six pack
or $18 a case...bottles
Im a huge fan of six point honestly. Bengali is probably my favorite drinking beer, And global warmer... delicious! Don't actually recall how much these are though my apologies. I'm pretty sure they're not expensive though.
Sam Adams Boston Lager Cans. 15 bucks for a 12 pack
Dundee Honey Brown Lager .....Yeah, I said it
That's cool. Different strokes for different folks. Cheers!
Ska Modus Hoperandi. Super cheap, super-hops.
Yeah, that would be my world, unfortunately. Our prices/taxes on beer/liquor are ridiculous.
I feel your pain. Anything good under $12 in my "neck of the woods" is a steal.
Long Trail IPA. I use to be able to grab a 12 for 10.99.
IMO, Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout just HAS to be aged. That said, after a year in the cellar, it's a great RIS at a great value. Also on my list of great value beers are Sierra Nevada Stout ($8/six-pack) and Stockyard Oatmeal Stout from Trader Joe's, ($7/six-pack), and of course, there's Guinness for $32/case at BJs. Oh, almost forgot... Lagunitas Imperial Stout bomber for ~$5.
The best deal I see in PA is 4pks of pounders of Bell's Brown for $7.99. You really can't get a 6pk of a decent beer in PA for less than $9.99.
Swami 6 packs!
Any Lagunitas or Founders bomber, 6 or 12 (or 15) pack; Stone Mixed 12's and bomber; any Sierra Nevada. Any Schlafly or Boulevard 12 pack too.
Raging Bitch Belgian IPA, $8.99/6 on Long Island AND at Whole Foods. That's gotta be like $4 somewhere else.
I'd have to say Ranger 12 pack in the cans, usually around $13-14 for a pretty solid ipa.
great fucking beer for that price. hell on sale its like $18.
True the only way you save $$ is by the case
... a good deal for hairspray?
I think SN is one of the most overrated beers. Right up there with Yuengling.
I'm in WI now for business and have to agree. New Glarus puts out some good beer for a reasonable price.
Picked up a 12 pack of Magic Hat Dream Machine for $6.99 yesterday. Far out, man!
You don't like any Sierra Nevada beers? Wasted your money?
Whole Foods always has fantastic beer prices!
Good stuff !!! Not really a a "Hoppy" guy but those IPL"s are fantastic !!!
I picked that up for $14.99 this past summer. Very surprised to see it that cheap in Connecticut of all placed.
Budweiser Budvar would be mine. I don't know why, it's very nice and has a chill thing to it.
I am a fan of Breckenridge Brewing sampler for$18 as well as anything from Sierra Nevada.
Hofbrau Original and Dunkel, both cost 1.15 euros for half a litre.
Modern times. At around 2 bucks a can, its a steal
Saranac Black Forest Lager. One of the better German style Swartzbiers out there and I dare you to find one cheaper.
Saw them for $6.99 on the shelf in central MD. Not a great value in my area.
Victory Helios at $3.99 a bomber is awesome!
Victory Helios cheapest saison bomber out there. Always good.
Weinstephaner Original for $3/16 oz bottle.
Hop Stoopid and Maximus regularly go on sale for $3.49 in STL. They are both $4 normally. Paulaner Salvator- $2.79 a pint, and Spaten Optimator $2.09 a pint. Sometimes they have Sam Adams Rebel IPA for $11.99 a twelve, and for some crazy reason they sell Nutcracker ale for $11.88 a twelve... can't really beat that.
Lagunitas Hop Stoopid - $3.99 22oz
Stone Cali-Belgique / IPA - $3.99 22oz
Mission St. IPA - $5.99 six pack @ TD Joes (California)
Noble Ale Works - Pistol Whip'd / Big Whig - $5.99 22oz
Nothing beats Mission St IPA, dollar for dollar.
Right on cue...I found some "348" Hop Stoopid today. All stocked up!
