In recap, checked out Sheffield's on Thanksgiving evening after dinner. The FB and website gave different opening times (6 and 7) and they did finally open around 7:15. They had 17, 18 and 19 BCBS on and the Café de Olla.

Then, on Black Friday, went over to Goose Island Clybourn. Arrived around 4:20 and was seated right away. They had all 2019 options on tap and we're tapping vintage options at various times. Had the 2014 Prop and pours of the 19 Double Barrel. Cheaper than Sheffield's on all pours.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

We were going to hit Hopleaf on Thanksgiving, but we stayed at the Palmer House hotel downtown - their in-house bar had BCBS regular '15-'18 on tap, and the lobby bar had Midnight Orange on, so we never had a need to leave the hotel. For Black Friday, our first beverage was at Whole Foods in West Loop, down the block from Fulton Market. They had BCBS 18 & 19, Olla, Cheri, Wheatwine, and Bramble on tap. Then went up to Revolution taproom on Kedzie. It was ok, but they didn't really have much interesting other than Petite Deth and Straight Jacket, so we walked over to Beer Temple, who had Olla, Cheri, regular, and '18 vanilla on. We'd always planned to hit Off Color Mousetrap (which we did), but we decided to stop at Goose Island Clybourn (maybe 8pm-ish) just to see what was left. They didn't have any of the rare variants like '14 Prop or Double Barrel left, but they were the only place we visited that had '19 Prop on tap.
