Only beers I remember are the 1414, 1515, exodus, and sump. It gets a little blurry after that for me....good times and good to see you! (this is Tim btw)

Made it for a couple rounds of this and took off. It was great of Goose Island to do that BUT I came back specifically to get that goddamn bike... Came up empty handed but had a Matilda and a Paradisi for just the cost of tip. Cheers Sarah from GI!

Heard a rumor that a draft of Doom at The Bottom Lounge event yesterday was $20. Can anyone confirm this?

I can confirm, DOOM was $20. Most of the drafts were a little pricey. I believe it was also $15 for Bitches Brew, $15 for Permanent Funeral, and $15 fo BA Baume.

Have an extra ticket to the Goose Island Block Party. Hit me up if you want to come out.

Whole Foods Lincoln Park was insane. KBS on tap. Bottles for sale. AND if you got a Founder's flight you got a taster of CBS! Unreal. Somehow just as good or better than the GI event yesterday (everything except Cherry is still on tap).

I have a feeling it will last until tomorrow. Unless everyone ditches the block party and heads to Whole Foods.

FWIW, i just heard from someone else saying that bottom lounge had 8oz doom pours for $20 on top of the ticket to get in, so i'm willing to call it fact.

So far, I think Local Option has had the best lineup of beers for this craft week. They also had the best and loudest music playing that will keep most of the tourists away.

    yup - everything was $$$$

doom and rev 3rd year were $20 - most everything else was $15 including permanent funeral, bitches brew, BA Baume. and that's for a 12 oz pour.

It was delicious. Effortlessly drinkable and very different. Mouthfeel was a little thin but I couldn't even determine what the base beer was. A light sweetness. Mostly rye flavor pulling through. Like the beer was merely a vessel for the barrel flavor.

I thought Bo & Luke was incredible. I couldn't put it down. Spot on mouthfeel with coffee, chocolate, light bourbon notes, and solid vanilla flavor. Just a delicious beer that I hope I have again.

Are you saying you didnt like it? Does a barrel aged beer have to blow you away with barrel flavor to be good now? The barrel was not very prominent, but it added a nice subtle complexity to a very coffee-forward beer. It was delicious. It was not BCS Coffee.
