Rye Dosvidanya is great as always and is usually my fav, but I have to say regular Dosvidanya is not to be slept on this year. Really well done. IMO both are better than the Vanilla Rye variant they bottled this year just in case anyone was trying to acquire that one.

There should be a decent amount of regular Dosvi at Binny's Grand, if anyone is looking. I almost grabbed a bottle but opted for the Rye instead (since I've never had it).

As I mentioned before, the Abyss variants are there, including last year's cognac barrel. Abyss '17 variants are 23.99, Cognac was...$25.99, I think?

Also, 4-packs of Drago were on shelves for $20. Totally worth it at that price, imo.

Yeah, my friends and I were all impressed with regular this year. Way moreso than previous 2 years.

I have an extra Rye (and Vanilla) from Dos Day and I'll be up in South burbs for Christmas. If you don't find one let me know and I'm sure we could work something out.

Dos has always been a really solid beer, Rye is very good too. Vanilla wasn't that exciting for me. I like regular the best.

BCBS Thread: Ughh why don't they charge more so I don't have to wait in line??
Other threads: Ughh so expensive, prices are getting out of hand!

Oh no you didn't just compare Evil Twin's BA stuff to BCBS.

Ah yes, only the beers I care about should be priced the way I want!

I meant because Bourbon County is the de facto king of BA stuff, so being relatively underpriced is very surprising.

Personally, if it was priced a few buck higher and that allowed me to get more of it, I'd be fine with that, but I'm not necessarily one of the "jack up the price" people, and I certainly am not cool with paying $40 for a BA stout. Anything above $20 or $25 has to be very compelling for me to consider, because there's way too much good stuff at lower price points.

Thanks, I was just able to find one at the Bolingbrook Binnys. They had regular as well.

Also if anyone is looking they have 4 packs of High West Victory at Sea

The Lakeview WF (Ashland) has plenty of regular BCS for those still jonesing. They've also got Darkness on tap at the bar for $5 an 8oz pour. So you know where I'm at right now.

I’m the biggest cheerleader of getting prices in line with demand, but the reality is Goose has raised production of regular to the point where a $12-$15/bottle makes sense and isn’t underpriced. Variants in the other hand....

Psst...I’ve been at State Restaurant (on Webster) drinking Prop for the past three hours. One table behind me that seems to know it’s here and three of my friends at the end of the bar. Otherwise it’s eerily quiet. Go ahead nerds, kick this thing...

Anyone see Dosvidanya, Cafe Deth, or BA Victory at Sea around the North Burbs yet??
