Did any Binny's get the Prairie/Coffee/Vanilla/Pirate Noir drops a few months ago? The 3 locations that I frequent didn't see any of them. I'm hoping one of them will get the Paradise

Stopped by Binny's Oak Brook about 15 minutes ago, and they said they aren't getting any Prairie Paradise. Or in other words, the employees are hogging it all

Tried the coffee beans sold in conjunction with the new Hop Butcher stout (regular and barrel aged).

I realize this isn't Coffee Advocate, but the regular tasted like dirt and the barrel aged tasted like dirt with paint thinner.

    Brewing method: French Press.

Well, they're limited edition coffee beans.

Given that, I assume you meant that the dirt tasted amazing, and worth the hype.

So, their coffee beans fall off even quicker than their NE-style IPA's?

You of course have to grind the beans first before boiling them. Unfortunately, unlike their cans you have one more step to consume their coffee at the recommended temperature.

All joking aside, I'd like to try the Flecha Roja roast as espresso. Sounds really good.

Whose beans did they use? Is this an independent coffee company or is it a sister company to HB?

Tried to look it up, think it's just their own beans. Not seeing anything that states it's an independent roaster.
