Chicagoans: Infected Moody Tongue Porter?

    Moody Tongue's Chocolate Churro Baltic Porter is one of my favorite beers. I buy it multiple times each year. About a month ago I strolled into my local Binny's and bought another four-pack. Popped open the first one the other night and it was AWFUL. Sour in the nose and very sour in taste, to the point where I couldn't discern any other flavors. So I popped open another one -- same awfulness. Has anyone else had this experience? Neither the bottles nor the package have dates, so I don't know how long the beer had been sitting around, but in my experience this beer doesn't linger at a Binny's. Emailed the brewery about this but haven't heard anything back. It's very disappointing to me. One of my favorite beers and I'm not sure I'll every buy it again.

    I've opened infected Churro Porter. They gush a bit and are sour. I never said anything. I don't know how long ago it was.

    To close the loop here: Kudos to Jeremy and Moody Tongue on their response. I now have fresh beer on the way via mail and an invitation to their new tasting room. I truly believe my experience was an aberration, and Jeremy's topnotch customer service has reinforced my belief. Moody Tongue will continue to get my business.
