12% alcohol?!?!?

I can't tell what, so it might not even be an IPA, but Hop Butcher just posted on their Instagram story them canning something in a white/black can.

*Looking at their past posts, this looks like Craniac, nelson and enigma hopped double IPA*

 

No, they stated this was just a mock up. ABV is like 9% if I remember correctly...

 

I am slow...what beer are you guys even talking about?

A buddy of mine really liked them, and based on how good the two earlier this year we're I'm inclined to try them

Both Hop Butchers sound interesting--anyone know when distro for them will be?

 

The Open Bottle has them now.

 

Looking for some help. Im flying into midway tomorrow night 8:40pm. I would like to grab a few 4packs of Chicago's best ne ipa. I heard a lot about hop butcher. I will be traveling south of midway. Looking for suggestions of bottle shops or locations open later than 9pm where i can get Chicago's best ne ipas.

To be honest, you're not going to find many bottle shops open that late and in the area with decent beer. Your best bet is Maria's Packaged Goods. They're open late and have interesting Polish/Asian food.

 

Yeah if you can give a little on location, trips 20 minutes north to Forbidden Root with Snoochie Boochies 4 packs and/or Corridor for Squeeze It crowlers would give you closer to Chicago’s best and be open later.

 

Well north of Midway though...

@Ryan145 I have no advice to give you if you have to stick to that general area.

 

Bbear is right. Slim pickings in that direction at that hour. Maria's is 15-20 min northeast, but if you're considering that, I'd say take an extra 5 min and head to Forbidden Root for a 4-pack of Snoochies. They're releasing it at 6, so it'll be super freshie fresh and FR is killing it on the NEIPAs.

 

I'll echo what the others have said. Hit Corridor and Forbidden Root. Both are releasing fresh neipa's tomorrow. Squeezeit 4 packs will be long gone by then. You'll be able to grab crowlers and growlers though.
