What's the scoop on this beer's availability? If I head up to Churchill's Pub and Grille can I buy/drink a bottle in house or is it long gone?

I have heard they do monthly allocations. Not sure if this means at the beginning of every month the release more, or if they just bring some out randomly.

I had a bottle onsite on Sunday night. No idea how much they have.

Churchill's Finest Hour, typically, is available for on-site consumption year-round at the pub in San Marcos. There was a 3-day period earlier this year when the pub ran out of bottles on-site. The pub owner restocked the supply at the pub and it is currently available for on-site consumption.

This beer is brewed once-a-year by Port/Lost Abbey, available to-go only during Churchill's anniversary party celebration, Renaissance, which is held every March.
It's most certainly an event worth checking out!

If it makes you feel any better, my softball team and I drank said last bottle on-site. We wouldn't have known we'd done it, until we tried to order another!

I think we tried to go the following weekend and they were still out. It was more like a week and a half or so. (Unless the waitress had bad information).

Ivan is supposedly making one case available a month, so when that case sells out then it will be out until the next month.

The beer is selling like crazy, which is no surprise to us. More exposure this year, perhaps? More appreciation for -bal? Who can answer these questions? Not I.
