I need to find a place within walking distance (preferably less than a mile) from quicken loans arena (and the comfort inn we are staying at near by) that has a solid line up of brews and serves decent food some what late. Suggestions please! Thanks!
Looks like you're going to the Chilli Peppers show as well! Winking Lizard is very close and very solid. There's a few bars like the Map Room in the Theater District that are long walking distance/quick cab ride. Aside from that, there's lots of bars close by that are good just not as into beer as the ones above. See ya at the show!
Winking lizard and city tap are your best downtown options for brews, I would rather eat at winking lizard. I would spend a few bucks for a cab ride to another spot. Hit Tremont and stop at edisons for pizza and decent beer or tremont tap house with close to 50 taps. Or head to Ohio City for ABC and great lakes. These are both probably a $5-$10 cab ride. They are still in the the city of Cleveland, just a different neighborhood. If you see the Christie's Bus late night after the show, just hop on!
