Closest or best stocked liquor store to Chicago that sells New Glarus?

    Can I go to Kenosha or will I have to travel to Milwaukee or Madison? Which liquor store is the best stocked for NG or for beer in general that is a close drive from Chicago?

    I'm looking to stock up on New Glarus and hoping to find a store that also obtain some of the NG beers that aren't as readily available.

    Woodman's in Kenosha will have everything you need. It's off of 94 and 50.

    Kenosha isn't bad at all. I go there repeatedly to fish so I'm grateful for that.. Thank you gentlemen!

    I second and third Woodman's in Kenosha, just off 294 and Hwy 50. And the Brat Stop.

    I routinely go up there to buy booze and they have tons of New Glarus stuff, along with lots of others. It's really inexpensive and sales tax is 4%!

    Also, I've heard good things about Tenuta's on Hwy 50. I think it's an Italian Deli/Market and they have a good beer selection. My uncle's friend gets all his Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout's there.

    Word of caution, Woodman's is Cash Only. They do not take credit cards. Other than that, it is your best choice.

    Woodmans is the closest, right over the boarder off of 94, they are the biggest NG retailer in state. Tenutas will also have you covered as well as many gas stations, all grocery stores that sell liquor, and hole in the wall liquor store or the Brat Stop.
