Closing up Beer Week At Gourmet Haus Staudt!

    Hey All,

    I just wanted to send out a friendly reminder about K&L Wine Merchants tasting tonight (2/15) at Gourmet Haus Staudt (2615 Broadway St, Redwood City). The event starts at 5:30, no reservations are required and it is pay as you go. Volker and I just decided on the first 6 kegs we are going to put up and they are as follows:

    Upright “Under Current” Bourbon Barrel/Aged Saison, Oregon

    Brasserie à Vapeur “Cochonne,” Belgium

    Tahoe Mountain “Persimmon Sous Bois,” California

    Almanac Beer Company "Valley of Heart's Delight" Ale Brewed with Apricots, Loquats and Cherries and aged in Wine Barrels, California

    Logsdon Farmhouse Ales "Far West Vlaming" Saison, Oregon

    The Bruery "Sour in the Rye" Wild Ale, California


    If this isn’t enough for you there will be the standard, and delicious, German list of beers and plenty of tasty food.

    Plus we have backup kegs from a whole host of awesome folks like Crooked Stave, Almanac, Coniston, Ridgeway, Commons and a host of others!
