I'm also very curious as to when cans will hit. Really wanna try Whammy Bar and the release calendar did say that it would be out by March

 

First run packaging now. Will launch in MA, CT, and NY first then an expanded roll out from there.

 

Will Clementine and Mango eventually see cans or are they staying bottles only?

Are you guys no longer distributing to Chicagoland? A couple of Binnys guys seemed to be under that impression...

 

I've noticed a shortage (for lack of a better term) of Clown Shoes in almost all of my go-to spots around Chicago and NWI. I haven't heard of any distributing issues, but that seems to be the case

 

That would stink...I like having Space Cake in my life.

 

Is rexx being released again?

 

I'll have to give it a look. There's one in Oak Brook and I work in Carol Stream, not too far of a drive. The Binny's out here hasn't received any Clown Shoes in over 2 weeks, same my local stores in the south suburbs. My brother says the Binny's down in Champaign still gets steady shipments from them though.

I was always cool with Clown Shoes (esp Muffin Top and Tramp Stamp), loved the names and labels....don't see them in SC anymore

 

Another batch of Whammy Bar rolled out this week, brewed @ Stony Creek in Branford.

 

We had to switch distributors. New Clown Shoes will be coming to Illinois very soon.

 

Saw Mango 6-packs for the first time. Just in time for Memorial Day, great!

 

Will Breakfast Exorcism ever see the light of day again? I have a few on the shelves near me, want to know if I should snap up a handful to enjoy over the next year or two.

 

They had a deal with Total Wine and only TW, which isn't the case anymore. They're suppose to be working on distributing to SC again.

 

The distributor around Chicago that carried them went bankrupt and Louis glunz picked them up. Should be back in soon around Chicago

 

So that's why we didn't get Bluegrass Billionaire

 

Can't wait to try the White tail Unidragon I picked up in Ohio, you guys haven't disappointed yet!

Thanks for the update! I've recently noticed shops in Champaign (downstate IL) haven't been getting any bombers for a while. When I talked to someone today he said something about the distributor in the area for Clown Shoes was bought out, then the company that bought them out got absorbed, changed names (both?) or something. Is this the same issue as in the Chicago area?

@ClownShoesBryan will IL be getting any Billionaire, or is it too late with the distro issue?

 

The store I was in today in Champaign, two different distributors were in the aisle so I asked. They said Stoller was bought out by Breakthru Beverage. For Champaign, Stoller carried Clown Shoes. At least that is what was reported to me.

We are now with Louis Glunz in the Chicago area. We shipped them our core lineup last Wednesday, plus Bluegrass Billionaire, Mangö, and Whammy Bar, so these beers should be hitting again soon (if not already).

I could be mistaken but I thought I heard Social Wines in southie will have a Clown Shoes tasting this week. Have to stop by tomorrow and see if I find something interesting.

 

I have looked and can't find any billionaire in Michigan

 

Haven't heard anything regarding the pecan porter yet. Is it taking the year off? Replaced by the election year beers, maybe?

Bluegrass Billionaire is amazing.

 

Loved finding a surprise cache of Amandine Exorcism a few weeks ago in Waltham. That stuff is "on fleek," as the children say these days.

 

I've seen Coffee Pecan Pie Porter here in Hawai'i. Haven't noticed the regular Pecan Pie Porter though.
