Having my first Citra Ass down and really like this beer Is there a list or way to navigate what beer uses what hops ? I've run into hops I enjoy and hops that don't float my boat. Thanks in advance

many brewers list the hops on their website descriptions of each beer. if not you could always ask at the beer store or the brewery.

Being able to look up beers by hops would be awesome. I think the limitation there is that brewers aren't always forward about what hops are in a given beer. I think your best bet would be just to search the hop name on here as a lot of beers that are heavy in a particular hop will have them in the name. For ones that don't, I'd say just start a thread asking for suggestions for beers with that type of hop. I don't think the current search feature checks descriptions, but that would be useful in this case.

Per the Against the Grain website:
    Citra Ass Down-
This is a very hop forward American style IPA. Brewed with Pale, Vienna, Munich and wheat malt for a solid base for all American hops, focusing mainly on the variety “Citra.” Citra hops are a relatively new variety introduced in 2008. It was bred as a hybrid of a number of different hops, including Hallertauer Mittelfrüh, U.S. Tettnanger, East Kent Golding, Bavarian, Brewers Gold, and other unknown hops. The resulting hop, Citra, has a distinct citrusy and tropical fruit flavor and aroma. In Citra ass down we used American Columbus for bittering and 11# of Citra at the end of the boil for late kettle addition flavor and aroma. Then we added 6 more pounds Citra and 5# Centennial post fermention for aroma. Rebrewed for your tasting pleasure!

As mentioned above, some brewers are not totally forthcoming about this info, so that's a problem. But to compile such a list would be a huge endeavor. Yes, there are those beers that are single hopped, and also as suggested above, that hop name is likely used in the beer's name and fairly easily found in a search. But most beers use a different hop for the bittering, flavor, and aroma hops (or combinations of different hops for each), plus additional hops for dry-hopping, so that would mean an enormous database. But it would be a nice thing to have.
