    Hi folks,

Just wanted to post this to keep folks up-to-date with the brewery closures and event cancellations happening in Colorado. So far, what I've seen includes:

    • Odell's Fort Collins taproom is closed until March 27
    • New Belgium's Fort Collins taproom is closed until April 1
    • Avery's Boulder taproom is closed until April 1
    • Collaboration Fest (Apr. 4) is cancelled

Yeah, good clarification. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression with my wording, but I just meant that B&B would be closed for an indefinite amount of time -- as in, they haven't said how long they'd be closed for.

Cellar West in Lafayette has moved to to-go beers only at its taproom.

And there it is. Hancock just announced that all restaurants and bars in Denver are closed for on-premises services. This essentially shutters all Denver bars for 8 weeks, and limits Denver breweries to to-go sales for that same period of time.

Not sure how this will affect businesses outside of Denver or whether other cities will follow suit.

Also, Odd13 in Lafayette just announced it will be moving to to-go orders only for at least this week.

I will be buying to go from all my locals in lieu of bottles from the store. This is gonna end some places...

Ryan from Odd13 here. Please support your local brewery, even if it’s not us.

If you are in the Denver area, Craft Alley (https://denver.craftalley.co/index.php/beers.html) is working with Breweries and put out the following statement:

I was looking at Craft Alley yesterday. Not sure if they're just insanely busy (VERY possible) or it's normal policy, but the quickest delivery option was a week out. You can do same-day pick-up on a lot of stuff, though. I ended up just driving over to Comrade since it was a lot more convenient. Depending on how stir crazy I am next week and who is still open, I'm thinking of snagging crowlers at 3-4 places in a row one day.

Was getting a little stir crazy and had to get out of the house on Wednesday, ordered a few crowlers from Cerebral and took the drive down the hill...

Online ordering and pick up outside the taproom, easy breezy. Planning to do at least one brewery trip a week to grab to-go beer while this lasts.

Hoping to grab a keg somewhere too so I can get the kegerator back up and running during these trying times. Cheers!

I saw Cerebral posted a list of kegs they had available yesterday. A pretty solid variety at that! Too bad I have a recent keg of Villainous Vic from Odd13 in mine now. I really need to get that extra faucet project going!

And don't forget that with the announcement from Gov. Polis today, licensed bars and taprooms will now be able to sell alcoholic beverages to go during the duration of this COVID shutdown. Jake's Brew Bar in Littleton just mentioned on Facebook that they are going to start selling out the door from both from their taps and from the bottle list tomorrow.

For the first time ever in CO: walk up to a bar and get a growler fill of whatever is on tap. I'll probably pair this with a stop at a brewery tomorrow.

Interesting times. Unfortunately, since bars have never been able to sell draft beers to go, they're now looking for growler glasses and caps. It may be a few days before they can get the containers.

Not sure if a plastic deli container would suffice, but it does have a cap

Obviously all sorts of small, local businesses are being affected by this whole thing, but my babe and I put together a list of 10 local spots we wanted to be sure to support..

So far we’ve hit Equinox, Zwei, Maxline, Horse and Dragon, and Funkwerks for to-gosies..., last on our list is Intersect, as far as breweries. Really nice stockpiling tons of extra beer for a legit cause wink emoji..,, The remaining places are restaurants, including my favorite beer bar (Tap and Handle).

We figure we’re not having our typical date nights once or twice a week so we minus well spend our money anyway, considering things are fortunately stable for us at the moment.

We picked a few places we cannot live without and will be doing the same.

It's like having growler fill stations other states talk about. I'm pulling up various menu's to see what I should get next.

@dauss I just wanted to compliment your team at Comrade. Stopped by to pick up crowlers at several places yesterday, and I have to say that the Comrade folks had the best organized, most calm, and most professional service. FYI I was in there about 2:30 yesterday (Saturday)

Thanks @Spaceman_Jer. We've been keeping up with pre-fills during the slow times and keep the flow moving. We're about to run into the same situation a lot of breweries are, running out of Crowler cans. There's a backlog of orders and it's taking at least 4 times longer to get more delivered. Good chance we'll run out today, but still have 64oz growler glasses, which are free with the purchase of a 64oz fill.

So far I've grabbed crowlers at Comrade and Station 26. Both have been incredibly quick and easy. In the case of Comrade, also super cheap.

I picked their Foeder Helles yesterday, so pumped. Also swung by Station 26 and grabbed a sixtel of Juicy Banger. Fully stocked now.

Not sure which tread is the right one - but the Bull & Bush is 100% open again. Both for on-premises and to-go orders. Full menu and nearly the entire beer line-up.

They've set everything up for proper distancing and even had a huge tent in the parking lot to essentially replace the bar area. Things are obviously still weird, but it's nice to have a little normalcy back. I don't go out if I don't have to, but that was a trip I had to make.
