For Colorado, and I guess more specifically Front range craft beer drinkers, how much do your favorite breweries charge for growler fills? I understand that higher alcohol, sours, etc cost more. But, I was shocked yesterday when I went into my favorite local brewery and was charged $30 for a growler of 5.2% light lager. They bartender said that they recently changed their prices to be more in line with other breweries. I swear the last time I filled a growler there it was more like $18-22 for the same or similar beer in April of this year. Anyone notice an increase in price of growler fills?

I can't help with the answer, but for extra clarification... new glass or brought in your own, policy requiring additional cost if not that brewery's own branded growler (not even sure if that is as much a thing anymore), 32 or 64oz?

It was my own tankard and a full 64 oz growler. I didn't see anything about non branded container. I purchased the growler fill from Dry dock.

Dry Dock, no shit? IIRC I was buying crowlers for $9 during the lock downs. From dry dock.

I know! They were usually the most reasonably priced growler fill around.

Maybe you got double charged by accident?

I thought so too. But asked him directly about paying $30 for a growler fill and he said that they recently raised their prices.

Maybe a year of declining on-premise sales persuaded the increase?
