Seriously though - water cure the bud to leach out the chlorophyll, tars, and other nasties. Then add it to the beer during dry hopping to extract the alcohol-soluble THC. ISO: Buddha Beer.
Washington legalized tonight too. Curious when the first marijuana dry hopped beer is going to show up.
It is legal for medicinal use here, across the country. The feds passed the law allowing it. Give us some credit.
Only in The District and seventeen states. And only at state level. It's allowed in all ten provinces and three territories by the feds here.
In tune with this thread, I thought the Uinta Dubhe Black IPA with hemp seed was excellent. I would totally check out a beer dry hopped with the dankness, but it sure as hell would be a pricy bottle me thinks
People can avoid the tax by growing their own. Of course, there are equipment and hydro costs so all things considered, it's probably cheaper to buy the taxed stuff. Or grow outdoors.
Wouldn't work. You need a very high abv alcohol and it would be need to be "dry hopped" for a long time.
It's actually Dankety-dank DIPA Oregon blew it. We sure could learn a thing or two from Washington and Colorado. I know these things take time and all, but we didn't need to try and hit a grand-slam. Congrats to Washington and Colorado. Oregon...please take note. Did I mention beer?
