    Someone already added this to Untappd, but it's just Ultra Right Beer in a "limited edition" can featuring Trump's mugshot. $25 per 6-pack. Another blatant (and lazy) cash grab with 10% apparently being donated to a couple of questionable causes. The legal disclaimer is amusing too.

    Note: Please report the beer if it gets added to BA so mods can merge it.

    I honestly didn't start a thread about this earlier today because of the request for no politics.

    This beer can couldn't be more overtly political.

    I wonder if they have a licensing deal with Trump? Or are all mug shots public domain?

    True, but that doesn't mean that we can't discuss the beer.

    Lack of proper regulatory approval has never stopped this company from proceeding with their marketing.

    That’s true, and more than intentional from them. Considering the price/shipping and all of this, nevermind this political bullshit point they’re trying to make. I’m not interested. As I said elsewhere, beer when offered cannot be declined but I highly doubt that’s going to happen.

    From a handful of reviews I read, it seems like an awful beer. And I trust the people that tried it didn’t review it based on the politics.

    That will depend on how much of this get brewed. If they brew say 10,000 6 packs it won’t. If they only brew 100 6packs it might.

    The applicable section of the TTB Malt Beverage Labeling regulations:
    § 7.130 Appearance of endorsement.
    So, it's up to the TTB to decide if the disclaimer is adequate - I assume it should appear on the can itself to be consider so? Is the TTB "Communist", too - I mean, they regulate business. :thinking_face:

    Maybe they could make a deal (it is an "art", you know) and just revive Trump's own beers? That'd be legal. Not sure if the current owners of Pittsburgh (Wainwright was one of their 'dba's' at the time) still has the original recipes.

    I don't know about value but I think this one will always be more rare - "one of a kind" as it were. As with any collectible item of breweriana, watch out for bootlegs and fakes, folks!

    I interpreted that. @Shanex was referring to the pandering to a certain subset of the population and greater conspiracy theory not specifically siding with one political side or the other (heck he’s not even in America).
