Craft beer and trademark theft.

    Fair enough. But these are common failings that eventually derail generally well meaning businesses and people. Especially when ideas and creativity dries up a bit.

    Man, that article is just emblematic of the problematic transition "craft" beer is going through right now. At a certain point, arguably before your segment has surpassed ten percent of the market, the whole plucky underdog shtick doesn't really land as well. Especially when it's being used to defend pretty flagrant IP theft like that.

    Well, my 'answer' to that is the Brewers Association should look to improve the overall craft beer business scene and encourage their members to be above trademark and copyright infringement. To a certain measure a number of craft breweries not operating in a legal/ethical manner reflects poorly on the industry at large.

    Some of it may be intentional , such as that Good Life above, but guessing that most of it is absorbed along the way, forgotten, then later resurfaces as a "brilliant" idea, with no realization of where it came from.

    I feel like that sort of thing edges into "kleenex" type territory. As an irregular tennis ball consumer, this definitely looks to me like a generic tennis ball can
