I will be in Boston in mid-June and just saw that Craft Beer Cellar in Fort Point closed down at the end of April. As that has been my go-to shop when I am in the area, I am trying to figure out where to shop this time. I have been to Fort Point Market in the past but am looking for other suggestions. I am staying in a hotel close to Quincy Market so places within a mile or so of there would be ideal.

Of course. Trillium is always on the agenda. I was thinking more about bottle shops.

I just did a tasting at Cardullos over by the world trade center and they had a solid selection

CBC Fenway is still going. Gordon’s in downtown crossing and the Roche Bros. grocery store also have decent selections

Isn't Fort Point Market right down the street from there?

    Edit: I can't read apparently.

In the Seaport, the only real choice is Fort Point Market (other than Trillium). Some people love Fort Point Market. Some question why. They do allow per can sales - even though not obvious and not posted anywhere.

They question why?!! That man, Tony, is always open to get his brain picked apart on recommendation about any beer style. I haven’t good results with CBC Fenway, Cardullos, BWX and etc owners, they aren’t as detailed at that guy.

I’ve dropped in for years. For me, it’s just another place. There’s always a smile, though, from the people working there which is appreciated. That’s more than you get at some of the other places.
