Could be :p to be honest I wasn't that into beer back then. Needless to say really, since the best beer I had in China was Yanjing :p

There is named "slow boat" craft beer in Beijing. It was established by two Americans. They are running a tap-room now. Their burgers and fries are so great. http://www.slowboatbrewery.com

Cool. I'm more interested in a Chinese take on craft beer and as Slowboat is ran by Americans I think I'll give Great Leap a shot.

Going off topic, are there any interesting traditional Chinese drinks worth trying in Beijing? Thanks.

Jing-A's beers pretty good. It looks like they're moving around lately.

They're on par or a little better in quality, but more dynamic than, Great Leap, I think. The Koji Red Rice ale was really memorable. I liked the Airpocolypse too.
