Any recommendations? Also how is EJ Phair? I've never been but looks pretty good.

    Thanks

Øl Beercafe in Walnut Creek is your best bet. Great tap line up and great bottle selection. Also you can order pizza from next door and they will deliver it to the tap room.
EJ Phair is decent. Good food and their beers are good on average. They also have guest taps/bottles as well.
Ale Industries just opened their 'Pig and Pickle' taproom/charcuterie shop a short two block walk from EJ Phair. I havent been there yet but I hear good things.
There is a Pyramid Alehouse in Walnut Creek and a BJs in Concord.
Black Diamond has a small taproom at their brewery in Concord but its out of the way and the hours are shitty-3:30 PM to 7:30 PM - Monday thru Friday
Thats about it for that area. Most bars carry some sort of craft though.

I know the manager at EJ Phair. Chris Wheeler. VERY good dude. Tell him Pile sent ya. And he'll hook you up fat.

Also know one of the main people at Pig and Pickle, Maureen. Also, a very rad person. I recommend each spot wholeheartedly.

I second OL. It's my new favorite spot. Skipolinis right next door, can order from them.

Lazy Dog in the Willows Shopping Center has great food and a pretty good small selection of craft. Tv's are non HD I believe. -1. Krispy Kreme is also in that center. +1
