The Raspberry Origins is at the Source, at least it was yesterday. Thought it was pretty good but definitely not my favorite. The Blackberry Dark Origins was on deck. They also had a L'brett Peach that I wasn't overly thrilled with.

Blackberry Dark Origins was great, my favorite beer at Sourfest. Raspberry Origins was slightly better than Raspberry Dark Origins (that's saying a lot) when I had it on tap a month or two ago, didn't try it yesterday.

Not Cellar Reserve but still noteworthy - Origins batch 3 is releasing very soon to shelves.

I'll have to bring a shopping cart to Crooked Stave to help me carry all the freaking beer I bought.

Ditto. We didn't even do max allocations, but that's a lot of beer anyway.
We might crack open a bottle or two at the release, although I suppose that depends on what state of mind I'll be in after GD this weekend.

Will there be a bottle share? I'm going to arrive late, like 1-ish. Looong beer day that day.

A few of us have always had a bottle share at the releases. Not sure how this one will go. CS said another email will be going out about the release when it get's closer.

I had both relatively early at SourFest so my palate was definitely not fresh but not totally destroyed either. I don't remember either beer being very noteworthy. Good sours, but I think that both Raspberry Dark and Cherry from last year are better. The Raspberry Dark, in particular, had much more barrel character than the regular Raspberry (which I personally like). The Blackberry beer was better than Blackberry D'Or from last year, but like that beer, I wish it had more blackberry.

Don't take this as gospel - like I said my palate wasn't fresh at all. But nobody in my group went back for seconds on those beers if that means anything.

PS - I still ordered plenty of each. I'm an addict.

Looks like there's a share, but it's not going to be one of those wide-open throwdowns like at the end of the year. If we stick around for that, I'm only bringing 1-2 bottles. It's too easy to get into trouble at the barrel cellar...

Email that just came mentioned having a bottle share in the back. Also having people RSVP so orders can be pre-pulled (thumbs up)

Apologies if this has been covered already, but my girlfriend is a member - will she be able to bring me as a guest to the release party?

The answer is yes. Most of the time the tasting room is open to the public while the release is going on with the beer pickup in the back of the brewery.

Apparently the first CVLT bottle release from TRVE is that same day. That might put the kibosh on any share plans I had.

For the origins releases, how quickly do they sell out. Getting into Denver on the 17th around noon and need to drive to beaver creek. Will be back in Denver on that Sunday
