Hey. I am in NJ and on day 5 with no power and 3 hour lines at gas stations and no heat. My wife and kids might go up to north west Rhode island but I need to know how the roads are and if gas is readily available. Any insight on route 84 area . Sorry not beer related but kinda important. Thanks

Well I can't speak to southern CT, but as far south as Milford CT is in a pretty good state with most gas stations up and running.

RI is in good shape for the most part with the exception of areas of South County.

Besides some downed branches, NW RI suffered minimal damage and gas is flowing as normal...I heard that Sparta, NJ has gotten power back so you might be able to fill up in the Port Jervis, NY area, etc. if needed and make your way to Lil Rhody.

CT is totally passable on 95 and the Merritt ... I haven't seen gas issued anywhere near those I am hearing about in NJ. That said you may need to get off the Merritt as several of the rest areas are currently under construction (as are ones on 95) so they are closed.

The 1st couple of exits in Danbury (Rt 84) are a bit of a mess in terms of gas, but once you're a few exits in, you're fine.
