Made it up to HF today. Great bottle list. They had vintage Sue, Geneology of Morals, Flora, and WOL: Sante Adairus. I had Flora 2014, might of fallen off a bit but it was still really good.

First time going to Willey's Store in Greensboro yesterday. So strange to see an abundance of HF shelfies there for the taking at only $.50 markup. I went for the fresh selection of Jasper Hill chesse and recommend people check them out when in the area

You guys have done an amazing job setting limits so beers last through the first week, at minimum, so thank you for that! For those of us who can't always make it up with only a few days' notice, having the ability to get these beers a week (or two, or three) after they're announced has been very much appreciated!

Driven by Willey’s 50 times over the last 5 years...and stopped today after I read your post. Loaded up on Jasper Hill — and admired the bottles. Lots of great VT general stores w/great beer around the state — Warren Store and a few places in Waterbury and Montpelier come to mind...but Willey’s might take the cake....

During my 24 hours in VT yesterday/today I learned a few things...chief among them — Edward is everywhere!! Had this one on my last stop in Queechee at the Simon Pearce beer bar w/a bowl of their awesome chedder soup. Moderate abv...great dry/crisp hop flavor...Seemingly everywhere north of WRJ — Edward is the ultimate go to.

My first sip of a Hill Farmstead beer ever was an Arthur at the Prohibition Pig in Waterbury several years ago during a blinding snowstorm when I was concerned with driving back to my hotel in Burlington safely. I had to drink it rather quickly and I thought it was a little more sour and tart than I was expecting. I didn't really care for it. I've come to love it as one of my most favorite Hill Farmstead beers ever, and think of that night often. While not an Edward as pictured here (Edward, Arthur - guy's names - same idea...??!!) and a completely different style of beer, this picture reminds me of where I sat at the bar that night - thank for the memories!

#1 - Aaron has officially ruined me.
    #2 - Friends tried S&S #6 and basically cried.
#3 - It feels good to get away from the Tree House crowds and actually enjoy a brewery visit.
#4 - "We don't accept tips because we are paid well and receive benefits." -- employee, therefore I donated to a local school. Also nice to see reasonable pay to employees.
#5 - I love the special release limits.
#6 - There really is that "it" factor about HF's location.
#7 - The people you meet are awesome.
#8 - I saw a guy playing fetch with his dog as we waited for growlers. That's how relaxed things were ...
#9 - People were content with the beer they got. No "obsession" to get more.
    #10 - I'll be back again. 100%.

Someone said on FB that it was about 500 people until it ran out. You would be pushing it I would think? I just don't know as the limit pp restricts people from going back.

@AutumnBeerLove I was just wondering about Everett cans. Are they still going to be around for this week? Are they planned to be a staple through the colder months (please say yes!)? Thanks in advance as always for your insights! =)

I’m thinking of making the drive up tomorrow morning from the Boston area, and I’m undecided on taking 89 or 93 the whole way up. Does anyone have any favorite breakfast places along either route? I’d probably want to eat an hour or so out from Boston, so maybe the Manchester, Concord or White River Junction areas? Need a good base for my first Damon!

93 to 91 is the way to go if heading straight to HF IMO. Drive in from 91 is pretty quick vs the cluster coming in from 89. I’d hit one of the diners in West Leb. Good luck - wish I was going.

Lou's in Downtown Hanover, exit 13 on I91 just north of WRJ. Usually a line, but it moves fast. Counter seats usually open if alone.
