Just grabbed another bottle at Cycle, I thought it was great!!!! Stout fatigue is a real thing here for you lucky peeps that live near cycle. Where I am from in MI this would have sold out Saturday, glad I will be here for their anniversary week.

I'm not big on checking others spelling, but I'm a huge fan of irony so I just had to do it.

I like you BKnarr. I like your posts. I like your name. I especially like your face. And I really like the way you prefer to spell dufus. But, you need to know all the ins and all the outs before you "correct" someone

I went back last night after the rays game to get another bottle. It's a tie for me, db vanilla and db cinn coffe are my two favs out of the four. For $35 though, it's still better than most bottle logic stouts to me.

I messaged them last week and asked if it was a one day release or 4 day Tue-Fri and they confirmed it was Tue-Fri. I did say that the IG post was not clear. I don't believe they have clarified on social media. I bet we will get a post this weekend.

I could only choose one day to go next week and I chose Thursday.. will be there bright and early with a cooler full of goodies.

I think that is the day many are going....I dont anticipate them selling out of the first two days, and if they do, no big deal. I heard the Cycle/Omnipollo collab was very good.

That Scooop comment is kinda tucked away - almost like putting "Baby" in the corner...

The last few times they've announced what days would have specific releases. I think that dates back to a the week when scoop was released 17 months ago.

I'm thinking the scoop release may be one of their anny beers...only an opinion based on nothing.

I'm sorry to alarm... that scoop quote was from a different post. It was from a sarcastic message I was sending a friend.

I,do not have any knowledge about a new batch of scoop.

When something "big" hits these boards I don't put a ton of weight into it anyway, but you are a dream crusher

Just to make things more explicit regarding this coming week's releases here are the details. The order they were listed and photographed is the order of release, starting Tuesday, 8/15, at 8AM.

Rare DOS 1, this is Rare DOS that was aged over 1 year in the sweltering heat, just like Lost DOS for those who remember, and it was a good year and some of our finest beer that is nothing more than Beer, Barrel and Time.

Hazelnut with nibs is actually what we had in the first Hazelnut (black label, brown line hazelnut, the new art is reminiscent of it) and while the first label was printed before we decided to add nibs, we didn't regret that addition and have created another batch.

Rare NOA, the collab with Omnipollo is a mash up of our stout and barrel aging and their adjunct expertise from Noa Pecan Mud Cake, this is a dream for those who want dessert beer - purists can skip this one, it is 100% unabashed adulterated decadence.

Friday is perhaps the most confusing beer label, sorry, it's accurate but tough to decipher if you don't follow our beers closely, and probably even if you do. The non barrel aged stout we released on Sunday during TBBW, with coffee and cocoa nibs, was a completely different recipe from Rare DOS as we added a high percentage of Munich malt. Around the brewery we just called it Munich Stout, which is entirely confusing as it's not a style and it's not really related to Munich, Germany outside of the name of the malt so we decided not to call it that but then didn't have a name and so we were left with the first batch we brewed being in barrels and we released the second batch as the Sunday beer. Now it's "Sunday Stout", that has been moved from its first barrels into Cinnamon/Vanilla whiskey barrels (whatever those are) and is being released on a Friday. It's a mess, writing this is even confusing, we failed to clear anything up but damnit if this beer isn't excellent.

Cheers, the releases and everything will be our normal routine, taps at 5 everyday, including Friday when we will likely have some extra treats on. Barrel Aged Coffee should see a comeback perhaps late in the week and we may have a few other surprises if we can get them done in time - the bottles listed above are 100% the only bottles though.

Hope to see everybody at some point as we cross the 4 year mark, thank you!

Well that settles it, I won't need to bother to try asking about those barrels next time I'm down since it'll be a futile effort
