Cycle/ccb bottle releases

and Cycle Barrel Week..... AC Anniversary Party , MBCP Day, Wake.... etc all in 3 months. Man o man.

 

Line is long as Fuck and in typical ccb fashion, the portable credit card machines are not working...

 

Running smooth now and down to 10 people in line, at least 2 and a quarter pallets of VH Zhukov left, and that's if there isn't more in the back

 

At the Cycle release on Monday, will they release all 4 beers or one a day? Also, if one a day, what beer are they releasing first

 

1 variant each day. Looks like Hazelnut first, maybe...

 

I believe it's 5 different beers, should be one per day. They haven't announced order of release yet

 

Is vanilla hazelnut still available?

 

Yes, they blew through 2 pallets pretty quick but its slowed down considerably. No line when I left at 6pm.

 

There is plenty left, I heard they made a ton, I'd expect it to be around like mekong for a little bit

Well I guess the availability of these beers will determine whether we have reached the top of the bubble. I enjoy Cycle but not enough to pay those prices for all these beers before I even try them. These beers will hang around a month I bet.

 

I agree with you 100%... except for the bottles hanging around a month part. I think even though you and I won't pay it, plenty of people will. What makes it more difficult for me to pay it is that I personally haven't enjoyed any of Cycle's 2016 BA beers nearly as much as I enjoyed ones from previous years.

 

Its getting tough to keep up with everything going on now, and having to pick and choose what to do. El Cat 2 bottle membership twice a year, Huna day tickets, Funky buddha tickets, multiple Cycle weekly releases and countless other brewery/distro releases throughout the year. And as mentioned earlier its also starting to seem like as prices/availability increase, quality is decreasing.

 

You are probably right about the bottles selling quicker than a month. I agree almost 100% on the quality being less than I am used to with Cycle on the last couple weekly releases. The exception being RareR DOS. That beer is awesome.

 

So hows the line at Cycle?

Lots of recent releases/tickets for locals.
CCB hit with 2 MZ variants, el cat renewal wasn't that long ago, el cat huna day tickets on sale now, AC annniversary just happened and then Black Friday. All the recent costs plus cycle killing the hype means less interest even though this is probably their best week series ever.

 

Are they doing 5 o'clock tappings?
