If we can't set up tents til dark, then we have a solid 3.5 hours of nothing else to do. Might as well pop some bottles and get crunk up in da club. Errr, share bottles and socialize.

People don't think about their anniversaries. "Oh, you can miss Darkness Day this one year. We're getting MARRIED, for crying out loud."
And then, surprise! Your anniversary hovers around DD for the rest of your life.

The cold is just a friendly suggestion that you drink more to warm up.

only way I remember my anniversary is because the fact we scheduled our wedding on a Friday because Texas was playing OU on Saturday.

Tell me about it. I can't think of the last time my anniversary (or the closest weekend) didn't intersect with a Vikings-Packers game. Three years in a row, my brother had a line on Lambeau Field tickets, and I had to turn him down.

Since the title of this thread is D-Day Bottle Share and Overnight Planning with a spreadsheet to list what beers you're bringing, I thought there might be one giant bottle sharing event held in the location dc55110 designated. I understand everyone has their own agenda and it won't be just BAs having all the fun. I guess I was dreaming of an over-the-top bottle sharing event where the beer flows like wine and where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. Who knows though, you're telling me there's a chance!

Yep, his girl is definitely not ugly. That is, if he didn't mess up and lose the one he brought last year. Looking forward to seeing you again this year; thanks to my wife sliding our kid out a couple weeks ago, I won't be arriving until early Saturday AM, but I'll be there.

Either way, if you are suggesting that there's time to go to Stub & Herb's, you are underestimating the tasting at dc55110's table alone.

I have no idea if "table" is the right way to describe something with 40+ people. Ours is already unwieldy at 12-15 people, but at least that's a small enough number to ensure everyone gets a taste of everything. Except, of course, that we will have too much beer for ourselves. I could have a serious 3-day bender on just my own contribution.

It's almost a relief that there won't be any Moe's Bender.

Apples versus Oranges my friend, two totally different beers. Both fantastic in their own right.
