Is this stuff available in Mass?
I'll be in Cambridge on Friday. Any shops around there have it?
Regular is pretty easy to find when its out, I've never seen the Bourbon Barrel version though. (Not sure if bourbon even makes it here)
It is? What stores?
BBPt5 is a brewery-only release I'm pretty sure.
Mass distro is probably going to be late per usual; DH site says Feb, so expect beginning of Mar at the earliest
Yeah I'm pretty sure you're right on the BB. I definitely wouldn't expect regular until March...
Any store that carries a decent amount of Dark Horse will likely get it. Dark Horse does't have a huge name, so it doesn't exactly cause a mad rush on release day. In fact, I'm sure if you really started digging you could find last year's Pt5 still sitting around somewhere in the state...
I didn't know they came. I'll check Yankee Spirits.
Was on tap at Publick House the other night.
Craft Beer Cellar tweeted that they got it in this afternoon.
Pt5 is awful, just save your money and leave all of it on the shelves!
So it's probably gone knowing that place.
As Yogi Berra would say, nobody shops at CBC anymore - it's too popular.
This really isn't a beer I've ever had trouble getting in the past with zero effort - no need for anyone to trip over their own shoelaces going for it...
Yankee usually carries it when it comes to mass.
Thanks for info. Sounded like it was worth a taste. Especially since I don't have to jump through hoops to get it
Anybody still seeing the latest release in Mass? I picked up a 4pk at Andover Liquors a month or so ago, but they are all out now and I haven't seen it anywhere else.
Yankee spirits in swansea has plenty
Yep - last week One Stop in Haverhill had all of the DH stouts 1-5 in stock - they had multiples of each.
I think I saw some of last years' Double Crooked Tree there too ($19/4).
Any other availability in Boston or northwest metro?
