I would highly recommend bringing that. It will be a giant draw to passerbys with bottles to share.

Only problem is that's gonna eat up your oz limit pretty quickly.

Did anyone else have their Hampton Inn charge disappear from their credit card statement? Coulda sworn it was there a few days ago, but it's not even pending anymore.

Maybe they were just doing a test run on the credit cards to make sure they were viable before they started weeding out potential no-shows? Not sure.

 

I'm staying at Hampton Munster but I reserved that room exactly 364 days before this year's DLD (I reserved the day after last year's DLD). They charged me long ago. I called a few days ago to confirm everything, and all is good to go.

If you're concerned about your room being secured, I suggest calling and just confirming the reservation.

 

If the charge was always in the pending area and didn't clear then it was probably just an authorization so they know you are good for it.

 

anyone staying at the Fairfield or other Marriott affiliated hotels in Hammond? Do they have a shuttle?

When do we hear about the BA variants?

 

I don't know about you guys but my angus is closed to being peppered. Going to get a few beef loins, throw them int the smoker this weekend and have us some beef jerky for this event.

 

They have the past 3 years. I'm sure they will have it going again this year. It runs every half hour if I'm not mistaken. Drops you off and picks you up in the industrial park a short walk away from the festivities.

Hi thread, long time reader, first time asker of rookie questions. Is parking at Centennial park the move? Can you leave a car there overnight?

 

Word on the street is Bourbon Vanilla and Brandy Vanilla (both) will be present....

 

I can confirm there were 2 barrels of Three Floyd's aging in the cellar of a brandy distillery I toured in Louisville a few months ago. Not necessarily Dark Lord, though.
