Yeah, I hope a few places get it today.... I'd like to drive up from Rochester and snag a few, but I'm worried they'll sell within my 70 minute drive.

 

it sells fast but not that fast. I would venture to guess if you arrive by 1-2 pm and check a few stores before the average person gets off work 430-5 pm then you should be good. It's true though, most stores sell out the same day they get it. How many were you looking for?

 

We should set up a spreadsheet of who is following the Surly truck when.

We could save gas & money if we just have one person tailing the delivery guys instead of a whole convoy...

 

I'm looking to pick up two bottles... I'm assuming most places will have a one bottle limit, and in some cases, a few will allow two bottles.

I'm worried about price gouging with certain shops.

Golden Valley Liquor Barrel has it, 1 bottle limit. No idea how much is left, just saw the post on FB.

 

I will be very findable this week. The stores that get it today bad tomorrow ill be slammed, but it will be on shelves this weekend. I'm sure South Lyndale will tweet when they are out for the morning

And yes, I cannot Imagine Surdyks not getting any. They sell a crap load of Surly.

Wow that was fast! Solid price too

 

I tried to get some delivered for a friend who lives within their delivery zone and had no such luck over the phone. Time to cold call some other places...

 

Was able to swing over during lunch and grabbed 2, not sure how much much they had out to start but am surprised to see half their shipment go in about an hour. Guessing the 5:30 allotment will be gone even faster.

 

The truck just arrived at the Four Firkins.
