limit two 4-packs for regular and one 4-pack for BW
Scored a 4 pack of coffee from tw at 3:30 so thanks a ton!!! I may have drove down from Baltimore and am coming back with 8 coffees. I'm slightly embarrassed of the 130 mile round trip.
I think I saw one of those amazon drones with a case of coffee BCBS. Not sure where it was headed.
that's just my mall kiosk copter carrying an empty box to lure people away
Metro Wine & Spirits in Adams Morgan has Regular, Coffee, and Barleywine. Well, I took the last displayed BW @ 3:45, but they were sitting on top of several cases of Regular & Coffee, so they may have some more BW in storage. Also some Regular tucked on a side shelf
That's putting it kindly. They are now charging $9.99 per bottle for regular, coffee, and bw. That's extortion if you ask me. Happy hunting everyone.
Anything in Rockville or Gaithersburg? Here on business and might be able to hit a spot or two. Just looking for a few bottles of Coffee and maybe 1 Rye.
Jeez. I was considering paying $29.99, but $40 for a 4pk is too rich for me. Those guys are my neighborhood liquor store and I love them, but that's ridiculous.
BTW, thanks for the trade.
How could you see the case of Coffee BCBS inside a drone flying above you in the sky? I think this guy is trying to distract us while he hordes all the good stuff.
P st WF had 5 4pks left at 430pm today
Connecticut Ave has single bottles bcbs for 6.99, no varients
D`Vines is hoarding it in the back and when they release it, it'll be single bottles.
U St Wine & Beer has none.
Don't you guys think it was a little too convenient for the drones to be all over 60 Minutes the day before Cyber-Monday? At first I was thinking Bezos paid people off to hype up Amazon the day before the biggest online-shopping day of the year..... But now I'm certain that Bezos and this mendvidick guy just wanted to distract all of us while they go and hoard all the good Bourbon County variants. That is SO messed up
As of about 5:15, at least 2 and a half cases of regular remained, $27.49 per 4-pack incl. tax. No variants left.
I have my own drone obviously. It chased trucks for me.
Wow. That means they sold 49 cases of BCBS (not including variants) in about 4 days.
Have there been any coffee or rye sightings in MD yet? Seems most spots got their regular, many got BW but no stories (in MD) of coffee or rye
Total Wine Sterling has some of the Coffee left, picked up a 4-pack 20 minutes ago.
I was in the neighborhood for work and saw that post. Stopped in and saw it was $10 each. I had to get 1 coffee just for making the trip just so I could try it. They had a bottle of BA Boris for $11, so that at least help balance it out a little.
They said it came in today and was steadily going out the door.
They appeared to have growlers of BW, but I think it was $30 for a 32.
From pa here. If anyone's going to TW sterling later and wants to get me a coffee I'll be in Virginia next week. I can pay you or trade a 4pack of regular I got this weekend.
Anywhere in MD still have BW or getting it soon (looking in Frederick, Carroll, Howard, or Anne Arundel counties)? I missed out at Jason's by about 5 min.
Glad I picked up BW while I had the chance. Does anyone know the amount of BW Goose Island made in relation to BCBS and if they are making it next year? I was just wondering. I'm guess the total amounts in order look like this: BCBS, BW, Coffee, Backyard, Proprietor's.
That's just ridiculous.
You're in the right order: 600 bbl, 230 bbl, 200 bbl, 80 bbl. I am sure the regular BCBS is wayyyyy higher
P Street was cleared out as of 6:30 today. Churchkey still had BW and BCBS '13 on. As well as Sexy Chocolate and Sweet Repute. I was okay with not getting a 4pk after that trip.
We must have been there at the same time. I had some of the Sweet Repute and BW that was on tap and found both to be very good with the edge going to Sweet Repute. It had a little bit of toast on the finish that gave it a little more structure than the BW. I'll be on the lookout for it at TW Sterling
So I when I looked at the bottle I thought it said a wild beer. Apparently I can't read. "Toast" confused me so I googled the beer it said aged in maple syrup barrels... DOH. might have to go back to get one even at 20 bones.
Fishpaws on Ritchie Highway in Arnold (Anne Arundel County) has BCBS & BW at $8.99 per bottle, limiting it to one each per person.
Thats my local! ill be grabbing a BW today, i bet Dawsons has it for 12.99 a bottle
You guys know that Central Waters makes the same barleywine and it's something like $10.99 a four pack, right? Y'all just love to pay double to good old AB-InBev!
Or why not just get a 22 oz bottle of Old Ruffian for $7.99? That's a better barleywine than this one anyway, imo.
MD dosent get CW! i dont even really like Barleywines
Fishpaws still had some as of 20 minutes ago. Dawson's doesn't have theirs yet. I tried 177 liquors and they told me to look in the coolers. It's wasn't there. I finally found it by the register in a wooden display with DFH bottles. They had about 5 regular left for 7/bottle. I had never been to Goska's and decided to try that. They aren't getting any.
Love the subjective better than argument. Taste is definitely the same for everyone
Total wine in Laurel and in Alexandria have the regular BCBS right now, alexandria is out of the varients, laurel hasnt gotten them yet.
Never been to 177, do they have a nice selection?
At this point, it seems like it would just be easier to trade for a Central Waters barleywine than to attempt to purchase a BSBS barleywine, at least in VA.
Hell, I've got a Central Waters Barleywine coming in a trade, and I didn't even specifically ask for it.
Laurel has barleywine as of 15 minutes ago. Only saw one case behind the counter though. Didn't check on other variants since I was in a rush.
which varients does fiahpaws have?
